Sarah is a Lynchburg native and studied Music Education at Liberty University. After earning her bachelor's degree, she married Luke and they followed God's direction to northern Wisconsin to work various roles in camp and church ministry. They moved back to Lynchburg in 2019 and found a home in Church of the Good Shepherd right away. Sarah returned to the world of classroom education for a couple of years, but now her days are spent primarily at home getting snacks for her 3-year-old and 1-year-old. As a young mom and new Anglican, she is grateful for all of the experiences and resources that the church and especially our Children's Ministry Director, Barb, have created for our kids. It has been invaluable to their family as they seek to grow together in their understanding of and love for Jesus with the support of such a rich faith tradition, and she's excited to join the team as they continue to create spaces in which our children and families can encounter and know the love of the Good Shepherd.
